"I had Joe during a very critical time in my career. I was coming off a hip injury/condition, and at the age of 21 couldn't find a team that would take a chance on me. Joe did, and as I look back I realize that I learned more from him in one year than I did all of the years combined during my playing days. After a playing career that included years in Europe's top leagues, I have gone on to a solid career here in Europe as a goaltending coach, and to this day I carry Joe's influence on me from more than 20 years ago."
